I came across Grind completely by chance. Since I love unique and customized bikes, I decided to give this small, relatively unknown brand a try.

And I have to say: I’m absolutely happy with my decision.

The whole experience was great, starting with the website, where you can customize and build your bike exactly the way you want it. The bike was delivered on time and professionally assembled — everything was perfect.

But most importantly, the riding experience is simply fantastic. The frame is very stiff, and with my 50 mm wide, fast-rolling tires, the bike feels really quick on the road while still providing plenty of comfort on gravel and farm roads.

For me, it’s the perfect combination of speed, comfort, and individuality.

I got my Grind Trace frame through my friend and bike mechanic ‘MrD Bike’ ( https://mrdbike.it/ ) here in Italy. As soon as i got intrested in getting a gravel bike he suggested me this model and it is perfect for what I was looking for:

This frame offers way more customizing possibilities than any other bike on the market, We were able to assemble it with a mechanical 2x groupset while still using the integrated handlebars. It can fit big gravel tires while still being light, rigid and aerodinamic enough to efficently use a road-wheeled setup if needed.

The custom-colors option made it possible to customize the aestethics of my bike and create a truly unique ‘1 of 1’ cycle as i imagined it to be. I expecially like, for what concerns the aesthetical aspects, that this frame’s shape and geometry allow the bike to look compact, fast and well proportioned even in a large size like mine.

In conclusion my favourite overall feature is the riding comfort that, for a ‘new cyclist’ like me, instantly changed my riding capabilities from rigid and uncertain to jaunty and secure.

All of these features make a fully versatile bike, from quick and fast road rides to long all-road roadtrips to technical off-road rides.
I would say, a lot more than i expected from a bike that i imagined starting by only its looks.

No need to mention the price, what other product can offer all of this for such a small value?

Thanks a lot to Grind Cycles and MrD Bike for giving me the possibility to own and ride the best bike in the world.
